Iceberg Lettuce...Still Delighting Millions of Salad Lovers |

There is nothing fresher or more delightful than a crisp head of Iceberg Lettuce. People
enjoy Iceberg’s crunchy texture and
ease of preparation.
A form of crisphead Lettuce, Iceberg comes in tight, dense heads similar to Cabbage,
and is generally the most mild of the Lettuces. Ever wonder how it got its name?
Back in the 1920s, Lettuce was transported on train-wagons, which were filled with crushed
ice, making them look like icebergs.

Ocean Mist Iceberg Lettuce is grown year-round in prime-growing regions of California and
Arizona. Our Iceberg undergoes rigorous quality inspections for color, size, weight and taste. We hand cut
all our Lettuce and hurry them to our facility to be cooled quickly.
