There’s just something special about Cauliflower, from the moment you see
the beautiful white head in the produce section to the moment a delicious floret
hits your taste buds. Maybe it’s Cauliflower’s wonderful color that
is so unlike traditional green vegetables; maybe it’s that nutty flavor and
crunchy texture that is so good by itself or savored in a dish; or maybe it’s
knowing just how potent Cauliflower is nutritionally.
Color aside, Cauliflower is a close relative of
Broccoli. In fact, during the
earliest stages of growth, the two plants are similar. Thanks in part to its
amazing nutritional qualities,
Cauliflower keeps growing in stature, having most recently gained scientific
respect as an effective cancer fighter. Few vegetables offer a better combination
of flavor, versatility and
nutrition.
