Q: Are Artichokes good for you?
A: 
In regard to health, Artichokes are very good for your body.  Artichokes are packed with essential minerals, vitamins, and other nutrients such as fiber, vitamin C, magnesium and potassium, which are four of the seven specific nutrients the typical American diet most commonly lacks. 
 
Additionally, a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that Artichokes have more antioxidants, disease-fighting compounds that have been recognized as essential components of a healthy diet, than all other vegetables. 
 
Overall, Artichokes are a delicious and convenient way to meet several of the 2005 USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
